MAP: Take A Tour Martin Luther King Jr.’s Atlanta

Atlanta is rich with Civil Rights history. Martin Luther King Jr.’s was born in the city in 1929 and Atlanta served as the base of his operations for years. The city was witness to historical events such as the Rich’s Department Store Sit-In and the formation of the Atlanta Student Movement.

These landmarks serve only as a taste of the part Atlanta played in the Civil Rights movement.
